Harbhajan Singh does not doubt the mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis potential but the star offspinner believes it is old trickster Muttiah Muralitharan, who would pose a bigger threat for the Indian batsmen in the forthcoming Test series.

" It will be Muralitharan who will pose a bigger challenge and do well in the series and not Mendis. You cannot compare Mendis and Murali. Oh come on, Murali has been doing it for so many years whereas Mendis has just started." said Harbhajan.

Harbhajan and Sreesanth displayed brotherly love after the bitter spat saying they have patched up, but the Kings XI Punjab management lodged a complaint against Harbhajan..

"Harbhajan is like an elder brother to me. He came and spoke to me and there are no issues. I play my game with a lot of passion. Whatever happened was between us. He apologised to me and it was sorted out," Sreesanth said.

Asked to elaborate on what exactly happened, Sreesanth said: "It was just a shake hand in the wrong place."

Harbhajan Singh Took His Revenge in The Finals

India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh won the latest round of his feud with Australia's cricketers when he captured the vital wickets of Matthew Hayden and Andrew Symonds in Sunday's first tri-series final in Sydney.

Harbhajan Singh got his revenge on top-scorer Matthew Hayden (82) for his "little obnoxious weed" radio comment by dismissing both him and his great mate Andrew Symonds (31) to restrict Australia to 8-239.

Racism Charges Against Harbhajan Singh Dropped : No Bans

Good news for Indians and all Bhajji fans. Racism charges against Harbhajan Singh has been dropped and all the bans have been uplifted.

Andrew Symonds could not even recall the words uttered by Harbhajan Singh when he was cross-examined by BCCI lawyer VR Manohar. In the absence of any concluding evidence, Justice Hansen dismissed all charges against Harbhajan.

However, Harbhajan has been charged under ICC Level 2 offence and has been fined 50% of his match fees.

India Suspends Cricket tour of Australia Pending Harbhajan Appeal

Harbhajan was suspended on Sunday by the International Cricket Council for three tests after being found guilty of racially abusing Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds during the second Test in Sydney.

He denied the charge and India threatened to go home unless Harbhajan's three-match suspension was over-turned.

The BCCI said in a statement released today

``The Board will appeal to the International Cricket Council to review the decision of the Match Referee and suspend its operation till the appeal is disposed of. The Indian Board realises the game of cricket is paramount but so too is the honour of the Indian team and for that matter every Indian. To vindicate its position, the Board will fight the blatantly false and unfair slur on an Indian player.''

India faces a $2 million fine from the International Cricket Council if it boycotts the tour.

The wealthy Indian cricket board (BCCI) could also be liable to reimburse Cricket Australia for millions of dollars in losses.
